Terms of Service — Beta

1. What this is

Insurance Adjuster AI ("the app") is a professional assistance tool for licensed insurance adjusters. It uses artificial intelligence to help draft estimates, reports, correspondence, and documentation. It is currently in private beta and provided by its owner-operator ("the operator").

2. You decide — not the AI

• The app assists; it does not adjust. Every coverage determination, valuation, reserve, settlement, and communication is your professional decision.
• You must review all AI-generated content before relying on it or sending it to anyone. AI output can be incomplete or wrong.
• Carrier guidelines, the actual policy, your IA firm's instructions, and applicable law always control over anything the app suggests.

3. AI disclosure obligations

Insurance work is a high-stakes use of AI. When work product prepared with this app's assistance affects a policyholder or other consumer, you are responsible for disclosing that AI assistance was used, as required by the AI provider's usage policy and any applicable state rules. The app adds a standard disclosure line to consumer-facing email drafts and flags drafts that lack one — do not remove it when the recipient is an insured or other consumer.

4. Your account and data

• Accounts are invite-only. Keep your password and the invite code private.
• Your claim data is stored in an isolated per-account database on the operator's server, with automatic backups. The operator does not access your claim files except for maintenance, troubleshooting, or as required by law.
• You are responsible for having the right to store the policyholder information you put into the app, and for your own confidentiality obligations to carriers and IA firms.
• Chat content is processed by Anthropic's Claude API to generate responses, under Anthropic's commercial terms.

5. Beta realities

• The app is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. Features may change, break, or be removed. Keep your own copies of anything critical.
• The operator may suspend or remove accounts, or end the beta, at any time.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for professional, financial, or legal consequences of decisions you make using the app.

6. Acceptable use

• Licensed adjusting work only. No unlawful use, no attempting to access other users' data, no reselling access.
• Use must also comply with Anthropic's Usage Policy (anthropic.com/legal/aup).

7. Changes

These terms may be updated as the beta evolves; continued use after an update is acceptance. Material changes will be announced in the app.
